Your Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing personalized healthcare plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns either in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic regimens within your designated scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care needs
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic medical record systems (EMR)

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days)
