Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Vaco by Highspring Ready to join a growing company? We are recruiting an Accounting Manager in the Raleigh, NC area. You will take ownership of the month end close, oversee various accounting functions, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant ready to take that next step and make an impact. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You and your team will also be tasked with several account reconciliations Oversee the month end close process ensuring the accuracy of the data. Gaining an understanding of the results in order to present them and any specific variances to management. Responsible for some Technical accounting research and documentation as the business dictates as well as ensuring GAAP compliance Maintain current Internal Controls and provide recommendations when opportunities arise Function as the point person related to sharing financial results with Operations and other functional areas, responding to any questions from other non-Finance groups Work with Manufacturing leadership to ensure accurate inventory Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA is preferred Candidates with a public accounting background are encouraged to apply. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
