Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant traveling assignment in a long-term care/nursing home setting located in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, United States. Start date 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 hours guaranteed per week, days shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,364 to $1,403 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, implementing and adjusting treatment plans in a long-term care setting.
- Facilitate rehabilitation activities including therapeutic exercises, range of motion, strengthening, balance, and functional mobility training.
- Assist with gait training, transfers, positioning, and ambulation, ensuring patient safety and proper device use.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the supervising PT; participate in multidisciplinary care discussions as needed.
- Prepare, operate, and sanitize therapy equipment; maintain clean, organized treatment areas in accordance with infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing
- Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility environment
- Availability for day shifts and a 13-week travel assignment
- Commitment to completing a 13-week temporary assignment
