Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and design individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Utilize scientifically-supported techniques to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and caregivers regarding therapy methods to promote continued progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful patient outcomes.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced qualifications.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification required.
