Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric and adult patients across various critical care settings, including NICU, PICU, ER, and adult intensive care units. The role requires adaptability to work with all age groups and handle advanced respiratory procedures in a Level 3 and/or 4 NICU environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-hour (19:00 07:30), minimum of 48 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland or Compact Respiratory Therapist (RT) license; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS; at least 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy; experience caring for all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, and adults; proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment such as Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, Jet Ventilation, Oscillation, Nitric Oxide; strong background in critical care respiratory procedures like ECMO, high frequency jet ventilation, and ventilator management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic; previous community hospital experience; knowledge of trauma level I and II care settings; familiarity with high-acuity neonatal and pediatric care.
• Additional Information: Candidate should be comfortable floating within respiratory care settings and across sister facilities within scope. The role involves managing a daily census of approximately 40 ventilated patients across 12 beds. Experience with high-acuity neonatal care, including jet high frequency vents and neonatal transports, is mandatory.
