PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE 11am to 5:30pm Monday and Wednesday; 8:30am to 5:30pm Saturday

Specific days required, hours may be flexible

We are located at 10655 Centerville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309.

Bradley's Country Store in Tallahassee, FL is looking for a customer service experienced  meat market associate to join our team !

Store operation hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

Starting pay is determined by experience level.

Our ideal candidate is  highly experienced in customer service , works best with a team, and is organized, self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Job Description:

Bradley's Country Store is a family owned and operated business that is locally known for our old-fashioned country smoked and fresh sausage that are still made on site to this day.

The Meat Market Associate will work 18-25 hours per week. Please see above for available shifts.

Candidates must have  customer service experience and  work well with others . They must be courteous, willing to learn, and detail-oriented. We are looking for candidates that are willing to work hard with their team members to help uphold the standards created.

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older (equipment - knives, saws, and other tools) to cut meat down into smaller portions. Will weigh, price, and package cuts and sausage links.

Our ideal candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills and willing to learn a strong understanding of sausage and meat quality, cuts, and preparation.

Must be prompt and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and speaking to customers in a professional manner; providing excellent customer service
• Communicate with customers to determine their needs; provide advice regarding proper cuts or amounts of meat and preparation methods
• Cutting and preparing meats for sale
• Sanitation of tools and equipment used on a consistent basis
• Ensure displays and signage are attractive and eye-catching
• Weighing, packaging, pricing products, and completing customer orders
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Preparing sandwiches and other lunch items based on customer specification
• Assist in stocking and organizing of items throughout the business

Qualifications:

• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• A strong team player that works well with others
• Strong understanding of meat quality, cuts, and preparation is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Must be available to work Saturdays and during Holiday season
• Food Safety Certification is a plus
• Reliable transportation is a must as we are 6 miles North of Tallahassee
