Open Positions Accountant Location: Westerville, OH | Employment Type: Full-time St. Paul the Apostle Parish is hiring a full‑time accountant to support key financial operations including general ledger maintenance, month‑end close, accounts payable, payroll support, and cash management. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, collaborative professional with a heart to serve others and support the mission of the organization. Responsibilities Responsibilities include preparing month‑end journal entries, performing GL account analysis, reconciling systems to QuickBooks, processing program‑related entries, managing cash activities such as deposits, bank reconciliations, and ACH payments, handling AP invoices, vendor setup, reimbursements, and check runs, communicating with vendors, resolving AP issues, managing W9/1099 tasks, reviewing payroll, preparing payroll journal entries, serving as backup to the Payroll Coordinator, maintaining fixed asset records, and building strong relationships across the organization. Qualifications Qualifications include the ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong attention to detail, experience with QuickBooks Online and in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, as well as the ability to recommend process improvements, pass FBI/BCI background and credit checks, and complete Protecting God’s Children training. #J-18808-Ljbffr St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish
