Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry preferred.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: Mixed medical-surgical, telemetry, and pediatric patient population. Uses Omnicell medication dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE telemetry monitoring system. Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD, CHF, pre/post cath lab, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and acute respiratory failure in adult and pediatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend hours variable. Call requirements: as per contract.

Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• PBT (Phlebotomy Technician)
