Human Resources Administrator Full - Time Professionals Winton Center, Cincinnati, OH, US Salary Range: $20.94 To $26.17 Hourly Join our Human Resources team as the Human Resources Administrator ! The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support directly to the Chief of Human Resources. This position provides support to the Human Resources division including Employee Services, Volunteer Engagement and Safety & Risk. The position will perform general administrative duties and demonstrate excellent customer service with both internal and external customers. Responsibilities Maintains confidential employee information. Provides administrative support to the Chief of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources. Will also provide administrative support to the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Director of Safety & Risk as needed. Assists with administrative duties related to benefits administration, employee relations and employee internal communication. Provides a warm welcome and excellent customer service to employees, volunteers, candidates and members of the community. Provides administrative support to talent acquisition and talent development efforts related to recruitment and new employee onboarding. For example, assists with reposting job postings, the new hire onboarding process, creates new employee packets, makes "Welcome calls" to new employees, assists with data entry, makes employee badges and assists at new hire onboarding meetings and completes status change forms for new hires (with application). Provides support for the administration of HR budget and finance including data entry of annual budget items, preparing and tracking purchase orders, preparing invoices for review, and invoice approvals on a timely basis. Responsible for a variety of duties to support the Human Resources division including maintaining divisional calendar, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, assistance with HR Chief’s calendar, travel arrangements, room reservations, assistance with employee recognition (service awards celebrations), employee engagement events (celebrations, meetings, team updates, purchasing refreshments, etc.). Assists with public records requests, and general administrative duties. Runs and tracks Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) for all Great Parks employees on an annual basis. Provides administrative support for talent development including general program support, coordination of supplies, room reservations, Outlook invitations, purchasing refreshments, room set-up. May provide assistance with coordination of leadership development programs, performance management and a variety of employee training programs. Provides assistance as needed to Volunteer Engagement team, database administration and assisting with updates of the Volunteer Handbook, volunteer events, assisting with new Volunteer Engagement vendor packets and purchase orders, and other general duties. Provides assistance as needed to the Director of Safety & Risk for a variety of general duties to promote a culture of safety, including filing and tracking Certificates of Insurance and assisting with new Safety & Risk vendor packets and purchase orders. Schedule's locations for meetings and programs including room set-up, audio visual needs, refreshments, and supplies. Answer and directs departmental phone calls. Maintains employee files and records and completes all filing in a timely manner. Maintains compliance with the HR record retention schedule for all documents within the department. Assistance with internal employee communication as needed (invitations, employee communication, etc.) Assists with "New Year Packets" for employees and retirees. Assists with mandatory employment postings updates on an annual basis. Assists with Employee Handbook updates as needed. Maintains and updates Employee Services forms on the Great Parks intranet; as necessary. Assists with employee relations as needed; provides assistance with employee engagement activities (All Hands, Team Update, etc.) Receives and distributes office mail. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance. Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks' policies, procedures, and performance expectations. Performs other job duties as assigned. Qualifications An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in human resources, communications or related field preferred; 1-3 years of administrative experience required. One year of general office administrative experience required. One year of Human Resources administrative assistant experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. One year of experience with financial/budget job duties in support of a department (administration of budget, creating purchase orders, processing invoices) preferred. One year of experience with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) preferred. One year of experience with project management software preferred. One year of experience Accounting/Finance software preferred. Ability to demonstrate effective business writing skills is required. Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
