About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified MRI Tech in Waltham, Massachusetts, 02451!

Pros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, prepare and position patients, operate MRI scanners, and deliver diagnostic-quality images. The technologist will work within a multidisciplinary team and follow department protocols for clinical and research patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (certificate/diploma) required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent.
• Advanced MR certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) required within 12 months of hire; advanced MR certification preferred if already held.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience performing routine outpatient MRI exams with and without contrast, including IV catheter insertion and contrast administration.
• Competence with MRI safety procedures, QA testing, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Ability to rotate to different MRI scanners within the assigned department.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
