Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1-2 years minimum required License: Valid nursing license in the state Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU and Pre-Op. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients in the recovery phase post-anesthesia. The position includes working in two locations within the same hospital system. Shifts will consist of four 12-hour days. Ratios are 1:1. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage is required as needed. No on-call shifts are required for this role. The ability to float within the hospital is necessary. This role requires experience with Epic charting. Candidates should be comfortable working with a variety of patient age groups. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage various medical procedures and assessments. Knowledge of medication protocols and patient education is essential. Applicants should be prepared for a dynamic work environment.
