We need you and your sharp hospitality skills! Westaff is searching for an Assistant Manager for a luxury lodge in Cascade, MT ! Term: Permanent
Pay: $25 - 30/hour DOE + tips + overtime Schedule:
- March - October: 40 - 60 hours/week
- November - April: 20 - 35 hours/week
- Assist current general manager in overseeing lodge operations and daily business activities.
- Actively help out with lodge needs such as preforming housekeeping and serving duties if necessary.
- Learn and progressively assume management responsibilities to ensure a seamless future transition into the General Manager role.
- Assist with guest reservations, mail pick up during the offseason, assist with managing building maintenance and projects.
- Support the coordination of guest service activities, including customized menus, itineraries, arrival preparation, and guest preference documentation.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing and posting on social media accounts.
- Help coordinate gathering guest fishing licenses, coordinate guides and guests each morning.
- Assist with guest check-outs prior to their departure.
- Hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Resort/hotel experience preferred
- Luxury/high-end food and beverage experience preferred
- Hospitality degree is a bonus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with popular social media sites
- Familiar with vehicle maintenance and building maintenance
- Exceptional attention to detail proactive
- Action-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
