Safety Program Manager

OverviewNext 150 Construction, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking a Safety Program Manager to join our growing team. The Safety Program Manager is a key support function to the National Director of Safety and the safety team. This role is responsible for coordinating enterprise-wide safety initiatives, including training and development, Safety Management System implementation, programs support and compliance assurance.ResponsibilitiesManage the development and implementation of HammerTech keeping the system up to date based upon Next 150 activities, or business reorganization, contacts and permissionsDevelop automated data solutions to simplify data collection and integration to the Next 150 management systemDevelop/Manage standardized performance dashboards and analytics.Partner with Training, Operations, Equipment and other internal departments to align safety with organizational directives.Analyze data from a QAQC standpoint to ensure data integrityAssist with the development of safety and health programs.Other administrative functions to support the safety team as needed.QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION5 years’ experience leading multiple facilities and/or dispersed workforce across a large geographyBachelor’s degree in data management, analytics, engineering or HSE related fieldStrong business acumen, leadership and demonstrated execution of enterprise level program deploymentDeep understanding of EHS measurements, processes and metrics Strong skills in data management, engineering, and analysisStrong knowledge of IT data systems and data development Experience managing internal and external teams to support the implementation of multiple projectsStrong writing, editing and communication skills Professional certifications: BCSP safety certifications, CSP, CIH or CHMM. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESDeep understanding of safety management systems and key performance metricsA bility to create meaningful and easily interpretable data visualizationsStrategic thinker with operational execution discipline.Strong investigative and analytical abilities.High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence field supervision and craft personnelStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and an emphasis on root cause thinkingEffective written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear safety reports, memos, and training materialsHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to fostering a positive safety culture and continuous improvement mindsetOccasional evening or weekend work may be required to support urgent incident response, audits, or special training eventsSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For this position the salary ranges from $95,000-$158,000 plus benefits and retirement program.Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
