Assistant Manager

Who We Are Ayvaz Pizza, a franchisee of Pizza Hut, is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of the restaurant. The assistant manager helps ensure each customer visit results in friendly, personalized service with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean, inviting environment. What You Will Be Doing As an integral member of the Operations Team, this position helps support the General Manager and the restaurant’s daily operations. Training and development will be provided to support your management goals, and internal promotions are based on performance and business needs. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of assistant manager experience (high‑volume food service concepts preferred). Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas). Valid driver’s license in good standing and access to private transportation. High school diploma or equivalent and possession of all documents required by state and federal law. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and customer‑service skills. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations. Maintain day‑to‑day financial controls. Create and manage staff schedules. Interview, hire, train, and orientate team members. Coach, counsel, develop staff, and manage team relations. Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility management. Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met. Set the tone for a fun, family‑friendly environment.
