Shipping and Receiving Associate

Our client, an international electronics manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be part of the Warehouse & Operations team supporting day-to-day facility activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced environment. Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate Location: Farmington Hills, MI Pay Range: up to $25/hr. Shift: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM What's the Job? Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and readiness for storage Package and prepare outgoing shipments using UPS and FedEx while maintaining complete shipping records Support inventory and quality control by performing counts, verifying stock, and conducting incoming material inspections Maintain organized storage locations and inventory areas, including repackaging electronic components as required Assist the General Manager with daily operational needs, process improvements, and special projects to help build the facility What's Needed? Previous shipping & receiving experience with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay self-motivated Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 20 lbs. Valid passport or enhanced driver's license, or ability to obtain one (for training and periodic travel) What's in it for me?
