To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesIndependently operates equipment to perform a variety of complex sonographic examinations ranging from routine to highly specializedReviews requisitions to assure that the patient history and anatomical area of interest is consistent with the exam(s) requested; examinations performed includes abdomen for tumors, cysts, abscesses, hematomas, inflammatory lesions, and the size and location of organs; evaluations of the abdominal aorta for aneurysm and/or dissection, and chest exams for pleural effusions will also be performedConducts neck, carotid artery, leg vein, and artery examinationsAlso assists Radiologists during invasive procedures and performs all types of gynecological ultrasound examsPerforms quantitative Doppler measurements to determine blood flow profiles when indicatedMust have knowledge of appropriate use of color flow/power Doppler to further evaluate areas for vascular patency/patternQualificationsHave a current and valid ARDMS license and required to be licensed in a minimum of two (2) out of the three (3) advanced disciplines to include Abdomen, OB/GYN, and RVT, and is required to have current experience in all three (3) disciplinesMaintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as certified by the American Heart AssociationMinimum of two years of experience in diagnostic medical sonographyNo sponsorship availablePRN Pay Range: $70.00 - $75.09 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
