Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Glen Burnie, MD. This position supports the day-to-day operations of residential properties, including responding to resident inquiries, coordinating maintenance requests, and ensuring units and common areas are well maintained. The role assists with leasing activities such as scheduling tours, processing applications, preparing lease documents, and helping with move-in and move-out procedures. The Assistant Property Manager helps track rent payments, manage delinquencies, and maintain accurate records and reports in property management systems. This role also contributes to resident retention by supporting community initiatives and providing professional, courteous service to residents, vendors, and other stakeholders. Qualifications Experience in property management operations, including resident relations, leasing, and maintenance coordination. Strong organizational and administrative skills for handling documentation, scheduling, and recordkeeping. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members. Basic financial and computer skills, including familiarity with rent collection, legal filing, reporting, and property management software. Ability to work on-site full time in Glen Burnie, MD, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 2 years minimum experience in residential property management or real estate is required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
