OB Hospitalist

Seeking an additional OB Hospitalist ASAP. The facility serves over 50,000 patients each year and is a vital part of the community. Full-time is considered 7.5 shifts per month. Will consider candidates wanting to work a minimum of 5.5 shifts per month (still benefit eligible). Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with both vaginal and C-section deliveries performed. Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload. Oversee unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually. Conduct OBED consults each year. Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting. Work with specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies. Perform tasks that include OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care. Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage. Cover the OB floor and handle emergency consults for GYN emergencies. Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections. Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit. The facility has earned recognition for advances in health information technology, offering patients the latest in interactive and digital equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. Not accepting Locums or visa candidates.
