This well-established northern Michigan medical facility provides comprehensive neurological services to the surrounding community. The facility features a modern outpatient clinic environment supported by Cerner EMR technology, with both inpatient and outpatient care capabilities and strong organizational support for its providers.

Job Details:

• Coverage starting November 2026 with clinic regular hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Outpatient clinic hours during shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (occurring within the 8-hour onsite day)
• 24-hour weekend call coverage (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
• After-hours call coverage required
• When no outpatients are scheduled, provider is expected to provide onsite hospital coverage
• 6-8 patients per day
• EMR: Cerner
• Required procedures include: Radiologic Exam Interpretation, Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap), EEG reads (inpatient and outpatient as needed), Brain Death Examination, and Evoked Potentials
• Board Certified in Neurology required (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Michigan license required at time of name clearance
• Provider must be local - no flights required
• Active DEA confirmation required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice history required - must include carrier, coverage limits, and confirmation that malpractice is included in rate
• Self-Query NPDB required (pulled within the month) at time of presentation
• Immunization records required for occupational health clearance including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID documentation, TB (within 12 months), and TDAP (within last 10 years)
• Provider will use DocTime to clock in/out - no paper timesheets

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
