Community Services Specialist
Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is looking for a Community Services Specialist to help individuals and families connect with resources and programs that support stability and self-sufficiency.
What You'll Do
- Meet with clients and assess their needs
- Help individuals and families complete applications and gather eligibility documents
- Connect people with community resources and support programs
- Answer phones, assist visitors, and provide great customer service
- Maintain accurate records and program information
- Support Utility Assistance and EZMO Transportation programs as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and situations
- Experience in customer service, human services, case management, or a related field is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay rate $16.97 per hour, bi-weekly pay
- Non-exempt, full-time, 36-hour workweek, Fridays OFF!
