Fabricator

Cianbro Fabrication and Coating is looking for experienced, safety-minded Structural Steel Fabricators for shop work in Pittsfield, Maine. This position offers a fixed base location, competitive wages, and a challenging career. The wage range for this position is $20 to $28 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding projects as directed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5 years of prior structural steel fabrication experience.
• Must be able to read and understand shop fabrication drawings and be able to layout, fit-up and form material according to the prints.
• Prior knowledge of pipe bending machine, plate shear, press brake, plate rolls, and oxy-fuel/plasma torches required.
• Required to pass a tack welding test.
• Must have a good understanding of welding symbols.
