Description Join our dedicated team today! At MSNW, we are committed to taking care of our team, clients, and community. Since 1995, we’ve been the trusted source for comprehensive facility maintenance services throughout the Northwest. Over the past 25 years, we’ve built a reputation for excellence by perfecting our processes and maintaining a strong company culture focused on hard work, client care, and team support. As part of the MSNW family, you’re not just taking on a job - you’re opening the door to a rewarding opportunity! We are seeking a full-time Landscape Account Manager to manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven position that brings together client service, landscape operations, account management, and business development . We're looking for someone who understands the landscaping industry, recognizes quality work in the field, and knows how to build lasting relationships with customers. You'll serve as a key connection between our clients and field operations - regularly visiting properties, ensuring service expectations are being met, resolving concerns, and identifying opportunities to improve properties and expand services. During the winter season, this role will also be heavily involved in snow and ice operations. The Account Manager will help coordinate winter service delivery across assigned accounts, including route planning and dispatch, equipment and resource allocation, real-time crew and route support, client communication, and hands-on assistance with snow and ice services when needed. The ideal candidate enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of their accounts—and is comfortable jumping in to support operations when conditions demand it. Location: Tacoma, WA / South Puget Sound Compensation: Starting at $60,000 annually DOE + commission opportunities Schedule: Full-time Key Responsibilities Manage Client Relationships Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial landscape maintenance clients. Develop strong, long-term relationships by understanding each client's property, priorities, expectations, and budget. Conduct regular property visits and proactively communicate with clients about service quality and property needs. Respond promptly and professionally to questions or concerns and coordinate solutions with field operations. Conduct account reviews and maintain regular communication throughout the year. Build trusted relationships that support strong customer retention and long-term partnerships. Maintain proactive communication with clients during winter weather events regarding service priorities, site conditions, and service completion. Ensure Quality Service Regularly inspect client properties to ensure landscape maintenance services meet company standards and contractual requirements. Identify service deficiencies, property concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Communicate client expectations and property priorities to field supervisors and crews. Partner with operations to address service concerns and implement corrective actions. Follow up with clients to ensure concerns have been successfully resolved. Help ensure properties consistently present at a high professional standard. During winter weather, help ensure snow and ice services are completed according to client expectations, contractual requirements, and established service priorities. Grow Existing Accounts Identify opportunities for enhancements, upgrades, and additional services at existing customer properties. Make proactive recommendations based on property conditions, seasonal needs, and client goals. Develop estimates, proposals, and recommendations for additional work. Present opportunities to clients and follow up on outstanding proposals. Coordinate approved enhancement work with field operations. Develop relationships that support account growth, referrals, and additional business opportunities. Identify opportunities for expanded winter services, snow removal, deicing, and other seasonal services within assigned accounts. Support Operations Maintain regular communication with field supervisors and operational leadership. Help ensure crews understand customer expectations, contractual requirements, and property-specific priorities. Participate in property walks and operational planning as needed. Assist in identifying staffing, scheduling, equipment, or resource needs that could impact account performance. Help coordinate seasonal services and other property-specific needs. Serve as a resource to operations when questions or concerns arise regarding assigned accounts. Be heavily involved in winter service operations, including preparing for and responding to snow and ice events. Assist with planning and dispatching winter service routes, adjusting assignments and priorities as conditions and client needs change. Coordinate with operations on equipment and resource allocation, including trucks, plows, spreaders, deicing materials, and other winter-service resources. Provide real-time route and crew support during winter events, helping troubleshoot issues, address changing site conditions, and keep services on schedule. Help prepare for forecasted winter events by reviewing client priorities, routes, staffing, equipment readiness, materials, and contingency plans. Provide hands-ons operational support when necessary, including snow plowing, deicing, and other snow and ice management activities. Manage Account Performance Understand the scope, budget, and financial expectations of assigned contracts. Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure additional work is properly identified, estimated, approved, and documented. Assist with contract renewals, pricing adjustments, annual budgeting, and changes in scope. Balance customer satisfaction with operational and financial objectives. Maintain accurate account records, property information, proposals, and customer communications. Understand winter service scopes and client-specific requirements and help ensure services are properly documented and communicated. Requirements We’re looking for someone who understands both the customer-facing and operational sides of commercial landscaping and is comfortable taking ownership of a portfolio of accounts. This role requires someone who can build strong client relationships while also stepping into an active operational role when needed—particularly during the winter season. 3+ years of professional landscaping or landscape maintenance experience; commercial landscaping experience strongly preferred. Previous account management, operations, supervisory, or client-facing experience within the landscape industry. Strong working knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and the ability to recognize quality, deficiencies, and property needs during site visits. Experience building and maintaining professional client relationships. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience identifying enhancement opportunities and preparing estimates or proposals preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field employees, supervisors, and company leadership. Strong organization, time management, and follow-through. Ability to independently manage multiple customers, properties, deadlines, and priorities. Ability to make timely decisions and adjust priorities in a fast-moving operational environment. Comfort using email, Microsoft Office, and CRM, estimating, or field-service software. Previous snow removal, snow plowing, or winter services experience is highly preferred. Experience with winter route planning, crew dispatch, equipment allocation, or snow and ice operations is a significant plus. Willingness and ability to provide hands-on support during winter weather events, including operating snow removal equipment when needed. Ability to work outside of normal business hours during snow and ice events, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and potentially extended shifts based on weather conditions and operational needs. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Successful completion of a background check.
