Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in Greenville, North Carolina. This position involves working in an acute setting at a Children's Hospital within a healthcare organization. The role requires providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients, including those on ECMO support, and supporting the NICU and PICU units. The therapist will work night shifts with a flexible schedule and participate in a rotation of call shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Greenville, NC
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week with every other weekend; includes one call shift in 6 weeks
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • North Carolina licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level 3 or Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
  • Experience with ECMO support in a large NICU/PICU setting
  • Flexibility with scheduling required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification is preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must be flexible with work schedules due to the needs of the hospital units
  • Candidate must arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call for on-call duty
  • Call-back pay is rated at 1.50x the regular rate, with a minimum callback period of two hours
