What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus tips Flexible part-time scheduling Employee discounts Fun and energetic work environment Opportunities to work with guests of all ages Comprehensive training on our recipes and programs Position Details Part-time position Start date: July 20, 2026 Hours vary based on class, camp, and event schedules Evening and weekend availability required Additional opportunities available during school holidays, summer camps, and special events What You'll Do Lead cooking classes, camps, birthday parties, and special events for guests ages 2–99 Create an engaging, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest Teach cooking and baking techniques in a fun, approachable manner Confidently speak to and engage groups of children and adults Maintain a high-energy atmosphere throughout events Manage class flow and timing while keeping participants engaged Work independently or supervise culinary assistants during larger events Set up before events and clean up afterward Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment We're Looking For Someone Who Has an outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality Loves interacting with children, families, and adults Is comfortable being the center of attention and speaking to groups Has strong customer service and communication skills Thrives in a fast-paced environment Is dependable, organized, and self-motivated Has a passion for food, cooking, baking, or culinary entertainment Understands that great cooking classes are about creating memorable experiences, not just preparing food Works well independently and as part of a team Required Qualifications Minimum one year of experience teaching, coaching, entertaining, leading activities, facilitating groups, or working in hospitality Ability to confidently engage groups using an amplified voice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 45 pounds Reliable transportation Must successfully complete CPR/First Aid certification prior to their start date Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children Experience leading camps, classes, parties, or group activities Cooking, baking, hospitality, education, theater, recreation, or event experience Food Handler Certification About Taste Buds Kitchen Taste Buds Kitchen has become a leader in culinary entertainment by creating fun, hands-on experiences for kids, families, and adults in a beautiful, state-of-the-art kitchen studio.
