Emergency Department RN - Mid Shift Job Description: - Be a vital part of a dynamic patient care team! - As a Registered Nurse, you'll deliver both direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process. - Assess patients upon admission, gathering comprehensive medical histories, current statuses, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests. - Collaborate in developing and implementing detailed care plans under the guidance of a physician. Job Requirements: - Education: - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Active NH RN License required or eligible to obtain. - BLS certification required. - ACLS required. - Essential Job Functions: - *Assessment:* - Perform standard assessments with basic equipment. - *Medication Administration:* - Demonstrate visual acuity. - Exhibit hand-eye coordination. - *Communication/Documentation:* - Maintain confidentiality. - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. - *Patient Safety:* - Meet the standards outlined in job analysis form. - *Interpersonal Skills:* - Interact positively with team members and patients. - Respect patient culture, lifestyle, religion, and age in planning and implementing care. - Accept constructive criticism and manage emotional reactions positively. Qualifications: - *Education:* - Graduate from an approved School of Nursing. - Current New Hampshire license required or eligible to obtain. - *Experience:* - Clinical experience preferred. - *Professional Activities:* - Membership in a professional nursing organization. - Certification in specialty preferred.
