Cytology Position

I have a full-time, permanent Cytotechnologist position on Long Island. Here is more information:
The lab is well-established and CAP Accredited. It provides sub-specialized anatomic pathology services.
Location:
- Melville, NY
- Right off 495 (very commutable)
- Close to a nature preserve, a county park, and a golf course
- Very safe suburban town
Job Requirements
Description:
- Prepare samples of microscopic examination by processing and staining clinical specimens.
- Perform thorough microscopic examination of the slides to detect and interpret cellular changes, document initial findings, and route to cytopathologist for final diagnosis when necessary.
- Actively participate in compliance and quality management activities on a daily basis. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- New York State License in Cytology
- New grads accepted
