Role Overview

• We are seeking a Principal/Staff Engineer to own the core agent architecture, orchestration, and the trust/autonomy boundary.
• This role is not about building chatbot wrappers; it is about taking multi-agent systems from prototype to production at scale-designing systems that make critical decisions and take automated actions.
• You will define the strict boundaries of when an AI agent executes independently versus when it defers to human oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Autonomous Workflows: Design, deploy, and own multi-agent orchestrations capable of complex reasoning, planning, and automated remediation across mission-critical global infrastructure.
• Define the Trust Boundary: Build robust, deterministic guardrails and continuous evaluation systems (evals) that ensure agent reliability, safety, and compliance with strict enterprise governance protocols.
• Multi-Model Orchestration: Leverage a multi-model ecosystem to dynamically route tasks to the most suitable LLMs, optimizing for reasoning capability, latency, and execution speed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7 8 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3 4 years of recent, hands-on experience building and shipping agentic or autonomous AI systems in production.
• Direct, end-to-end ownership of core AI architectures; you must have designed the system architecture, not merely contributed to an existing blueprint.
• Proven experience at an AI-native scale-up or major tech firm (e.g., Meta, NVIDIA, AWS, Google/Gemini).
• Demonstrated capability in building rigorous, automated evaluation systems that mathematically proved an agent's reliability to operate with real autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep exposure to highly regulated, mission-critical environments (financial services, healthcare, or core infrastructure).
