Fire Alarm Inspector

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical and fire suppression systems across our product lines. What You Will Do Test and inspect fire alarm systems for existing and new customers. Maintain proper documentation for work performed using provided tools. Work with low‑voltage wiring and associated devices to operate low‑voltage equipment. Complete Service Acknowledgements with accurate coding through communication devices such as laptops and/or hard copy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documents via mobile device. Make minor repairs and programming changes to inspected systems. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and using high‑lift equipment. Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs. Perform all duties safely, professionally, and maintain a clean work area. What We Look For Installation or service experience testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment. Self‑starter who can work with little or no supervision. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Capability to perform physical labor. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to work well with others. Obtain NICET Level I certification within one year of employment. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and smartphone use. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $20.00–$27.50, depending on experience and qualifications.
