Job Title:Engineer IILocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:As an Engineer II, you will help deliver secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure solutions while supporting cloud, automation, and platform initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of projects including provisioning and decommissioning servers. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you'll help drive alignment across teams and clearly communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.Assist senior engineers with day‑to‑day engineering, operational support, and project tasksPerform basic system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution following documented proceduresSupport the maintenance of IT infrastructure, platforms, or applicationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency.Support automation initiatives through scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipeline activities.Assist with implementing approved configurations, updates, and changesParticipate in incidents, problem, and change management activitiesDocument system configurations, procedures, and operational tasksFollow security, compliance, and operational standardsProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when appropriate.What you'll need: 1+ years of related experience IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar field.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent coursework or experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldIntermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferredAdvanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.Basic understanding of:Operating systems and infrastructure fundamentalsNetworking and system conceptsDatabases or data structuresVersion control or ticketing systemsStrong willingness to learn and follow established engineering standards.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.May require up to 25% travel.Preferred SkillsExposure to enterprise IT environmentsFamiliarity with Agile or ITSM processes.Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments in financial services or highly regulated industries.Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar)Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Benefits you’ll love:We offer all the important things you'd want — like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
