CNC Waterjet Operator

Job Overview The CNC Waterjet Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNC waterjet cutting equipment to shape cut various materials with accuracy and efficiency. Pay Rate: $19.25 – 25.80/hour DOE. A Day In The Life Set up and operate water jet cutting machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance Adjust machine parameters such as pressure, speed, and nozzle settings to achieve precise cuts Loading raw materials and parts onto machines Performing test runs and adjusting settings to meet specifications Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment Maintaining accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation Keeping work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards Supporting team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Certificate or diploma from a trade school (preferred) Proven experience operating CNC machinery Proficiency with precision measurement tools Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills Attention to detail and a results-driven approach Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work Work Environment Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to machine noise, coolants, and electrical equipment Proper PPE required The above summary of position responsibilities and requirements is not intended, and should not be construed, to be an exhaustive list of duties, skills, efforts, physical requirements, or working conditions associated with the position.
