Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU and IMU setting with a focus on critically ill adult patients
• Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Titrate critical care drips including vasopressors and sedation medications per protocol
• Manage common diagnoses including COPD, acute respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, and shock
• Operate unit equipment including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, bedside dialysis, and fluid warmers
• Float to Telemetry overflow as needed and collaborate with charge nurses and clinical staff leads

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and critical thinking in high-acuity environments
• Knowledge of critical drip titration including vasopressors and sedation
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Must meet travel distance requirements (60+ miles from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong teamwork skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
