Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Marion, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Registered Nurse for our 23-bed unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with a skilled team of healthcare professionals. This role requires proficiency in electronic documentation using Cerner and adherence to unit guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:

Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must hold a valid RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience in acute care settings preferred.
