Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Glenview, Illinois. This role involves providing circulating and scrub services for general and eye surgeries in a hospital setting. The position requires adherence to scheduled shifts, on-call rotations, and weekend coverage, supporting patient care with clinical expertise. Job Details Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Illinois Schedule: 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, 0700-1530, with on-call responsibilities including weekends and holidays Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with experience in general and eye surgeries; Ability to pass an EKG test on the first day with 80% or above; Must hold an active Illinois nursing license, CPR, and ACLS certifications; Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required; and Previous circulating experience in general and eye surgeries and scrub experience preferred. Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license, CPR, ACLS, Epic EMR experience, 2 years of OR nursing experience, and recent references. Additional Information: Must submit updated resume with documented eye circulation experience, current reference within the last year, skills checklist, and successful EKG test results prior to start. Call about once a week, including weekends; located within a 30-minute drive to the hospital; minimum callback time of 2 hours. Floating: CVOR experience may be required if applicable.
