Main activities include the pick up or delivery goods, packages or equipment. May be required to load or unload contents of the vehicle. Requires commercial driver license.Requirements:Be able to pass a DOT physical, drug and alcohol screen, and 7 year background checkHave basic mechanical skillsMust have a flexible schedule, and be able to travel and work all days and times. The company operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Must follow direction from supervisionMust follow direction from crane operatorAid in assembly/disassembly under supervision of crane operatorHave basic knowledge of crane and rigging considerations (hitches, shackles, load angles, load weights, center of gravity, tag line, etc.)Must be able to be assigned the designated signalman to help the crane operator attach, lift, move, and set loads.Must have a valid Class A CDL drivers license, and keep it up to dateAid in cleanliness and housekeeping on job site and mobile equipmentMust have basic knowledge of assembly/disassembly of crane and all componentsAttach load lifting devices to crane and to load in a safe mannerEnsure the safety of all involved by utilizing safe practicesMust be able to inspect pre-trip items on truck and trailerPerforming routine maintenanceWearing required personal protective equipment while performing workMentor other drivers, crane helpers, etc.Drive long distances to deliver crane parts to job site on timeLoad and unload cargoRefuel and clean vehicleReport road incidents to safetyFollow traffic lawsInspect truck and record issuesFollow accident proceduresKeep an active log and log hoursReport mechanical problems to maintenance personnelPlan routes using GPS systemMaintain positive attitude with customersHave a clean driving recordFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
