Job Description We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Winnsboro, Texas . This position is also open to Family Medicine physicians with demonstrated Emergency Medicine experience who meet certification requirements. This is a stable, long-term assignment offering consistent coverage needs, manageable patient volume, and an efficient clinical environment. Opportunity Highlights • Ongoing locum tenens coverage with long-term potential • 12-hour physician shifts (day and night coverage) • No APP coverage on site • Paid travel and lodging available • Credentialing and onboarding support provided • EPIC EMR Clinical Environment • Emergency Department with fast track beds • Average patient volume: 25 patients per day • EMS volume approximately % • No trauma designation • Admitted patients are transferred to a higher level of care facility • Full lab capabilities available on site • No scribe coverage Schedule • 12-hour shifts • Day and night coverage • Ongoing scheduling needs Candidate Requirements • MD or DO • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine • Family Medicine physicians must have prior Emergency Medicine experience • ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required • Active Texas medical license required • Prior emergency department experience preferred Compensation Compensation is competitive and based on background, experience, and availability .
