Area Director of Sales

The Role The Area Director of Sales owns topline revenue for LivAway Suites hotels in an assigned market. This is a market-facing, execution-oriented seat - you'll be out prospecting, closing local and regional corporate accounts, running site tours, and working alongside hotel General Managers to convert demand. You'll leverage SellAway™, our proprietary sales platform, and work within the strategy and rate framework set by brand leadership. What You'll Do Execute the brand sales plan in your market and deliver against assigned revenue and account production targets Build and manage a pipeline of local and regional corporate accounts Identify extended-stay demand sources specific to your market - project-based, relocation, healthcare, and construction business Negotiate local corporate rates and agreements within approved parameters, and manage accounts for retention and growth Partner with hotel General Managers and on-property teams to support hotel-level sales execution Provide pre- and post-opening sales support for hotels opening in your marketRepresent LivAway at client meetings, local trade shows, and community and networking events Maintain accurate records in the sales CRM and provide pipeline and activity reporting to the VP of National Sales What You Bring 2-4 years of hotel sales experience, or hotel operations experience with direct sales responsibility A demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets Strong communication skills and exceptional follow-through A self-starter orientation - you can build activity without being handed a list Proficiency with CRM and lead enrichment platforms Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily outside sales activity Nice to Have Experience in the economy, mid-scale, or extended stay segments Established local corporate account relationships Experience supporting franchised or third-party managed hotels Compensation & Travel Base salary of $80,000-$85,000, plus participation in an annual bonus program worth up to 20% of base salary amount.
