This role is responsible for supporting the Fit Team throughout the sample lifecycle, specifically to the critical ability to operate efficiently while balancing large volumes of product with fit consistency expectations.ResponsibilitiesSelect the correct 'block' template for the style and set up appropriate POMs, articulating exactly how to measure each POMMeasure all samples with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyEnter sample measurements onto the spec templateSet up samples in the fit room prior to the fit session, preparing the product for an efficient sessionTake thorough notes for the technical designer during the fit session and recap them to the fit audience for alignmentTake photos and hang samples during the fit sessionInsert model images onto the spec template and initialize fit comments by referencing the fit session notesAssist with processing final fit comments and assembling the required alterations, developing the ability to troubleshoot fit issues and formulate 'one-and-done' fit correctionsMeasure the fit models twice monthly to protect fit consistencyParticipate in model castings by sourcing, scheduling, and measuring the modelsSample ManagementReturn borrowed samples and file fit samples in the correct locationParticipate in the monthly purge processTOP SamplesMeasure samples to confirm spec complianceApprove TOP samples in NetSuite, observing standard operating 'TOP Approval' proceduresParticipate in TOP try-on sessions as neededRole RequirementsA minimum of two years of experience in Technical DesignIntermediate level understanding of G-Suite and Microsoft Office – Illustrator experience is a plusAbility to use a tape measure and measure samples accurately in both decimals and fractionsAptitude for reading and interpreting a spec sheetKnowledge of fabrics, and how to identify knit and woven fabricsExposure to pattern-making, sewing, and fittingsProblem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret dataExceptional attention to detail, able to balance speed and accuracy, self-edit, and correct inconsistenciesSense of urgency with the ability to organize, prioritize, and reorder workloadEmbrace change and apply initiative within a dynamic working environmentAble to manage large volumes of samples and lift up to thirty poundsProfessionally effective written and verbal communication skills with strong follow-upAble to add, multiply, divide, and subtract fractions and decimalsFluency in English including 'Fashion', 'Fabrication', and 'Technical' vernacularDegree in Fashion specializing in Technical DesignSchedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | OnsiteBenefitsNew state-of-the-art HQ located in Beverly HillsFormalized career paths for continued professional growthComprehensive health insurance across Medical, Dental and Vision401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibilityWeekly catered lunches & fully-stock kitchen pantry!Opportunities to travel for trade shows and vendor meetingsSummer Fridays Early DepartureTeam bonding events and programsAttractive employee discounts!Fashion Nova, LLC, and subsidiaries thereof, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
