Maintenance Tech - HVAC, Days

Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliaryequipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV’s, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcareHVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: EPA – Universal Certification ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Georgia driver’s license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500criteria preferred.
