Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) at a healthcare facility in the region. This position involves providing patient care on a 16-bed unit with a focus on diverse diagnoses such as stroke, CHF, electrolyte imbalances, arrhythmias, respiratory arrest, sepsis, and COPD. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry)
• Location: Regionally based healthcare facility, with floating requirements across multiple facilities within the region as needed.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, PALS certification, NIHSS certification, CPI certification; 0 or more years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
• Skills required: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, management of critical care drips, vent management, PIV starts, administration of TNK/TPA, conscious sedation, triage experience, and proficiency with electronic medical records and telemetry monitoring.
• Additional information: The role involves working with a variety of patient diagnoses, supporting within a multidisciplinary team, and floating to multiple facilities within the region based on operational needs. Orientation will consist of two days at the unit level, and the traveler will participate in a weekend rotation every other week.
• Submission requirements: Must meet necessary clinical and certification requirements for consideration.
