divh2Cytotechnologist (Traveler)/h2pOur client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Cytotechnologist (Traveler) for their Grand Rapids, MI location./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliMicroscopically examine and diagnose gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for infectious, pre-malignant, and malignant disease processes./liliPerform all duties as required by CLIA. These duties include, but are not limited to, the daily documenting of interpretations to include the total number of slides screened and the total number of hours spent screening./liliMaintain specimen integrity and patient identification of all samples examined./liliEnter and report results into the laboratory information system./liliMaintain confidentiality of patient test results in accordance with HIPAA regulations./liliComply with all local, federal, CLIA and CAP regulations/liliParticipate successfully in a CMS approved proficiency-testing program annually, as applicable./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliBachelors degree in clinical lab, physical, or biological science/liliMeet CLIA requirements (CFR. 493. 1483)/liliMeet ASCP requirements for Cytotechnologist (if not certified prior to employment, must pass ASCP registry within one year of start date)./liliLicensed Florida Cytotechnologist/liliLiquid-based cytology training/certification (Thin Prep and/or Sure Path), preferred./li/ulh3Why Should You Apply?/h3ulliHealth Benefits/liliReferral Program/liliExcellent growth and advancement opportunities/li/ulpICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
