Location:Center For Health ServicesDepartment:Obstetrics GynecologyWeekly Hours:40Status:Full timeShift:Days (United States of America)Job Summary:As a Diagnostic Sonographer with ProMedica Physicians, you will perform a variety of procedures to help a physician diagnose and treat patients.You will perform echocardiography 2D, M-Mode, color flow Doppler studies and document any important information. You will prepare patients for exams and explain procedures.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or equivalentMust have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible. Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date.
