Contract | Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Scrub and/or circulate during cardiovascular surgical procedures in an acute care, teaching hospital environment
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call every other week
• Chart accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
• Float within the assigned hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Flexibility and willingness to float within the hospital system is strongly preferred
