Company Description: Josh Thomas Mortgage a DBA of First Class Home Mortgage based out of South Jordan UT is hiring new loan officers with little or no experience. We help home buyers, home owners, investors, and seniors use mortgages to accomplish their dreams. We've been lending over 20 years so we can close loans many lenders can't, and fast! We close most our loans in just 2 weeks which gets our home buyers better deals. We're also mortgage brokers so we shop around for our clients saving them even more money. And we help them manage their mortgages after closing which will put over $100k in their pockets long term. Role Description: The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, mostly remote role. You will be assisting us in our existing book of business and gradually scaling out your own book of business. This role will learn to be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, meeting with clients to assess their financial situations, and recommending appropriate loan products. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing financial documentation, coordinating with underwriting, and ensuring loans comply with regulatory and lending guidelines. The Mortgage Loan Officer will maintain regular communication with clients throughout the loan process, provide timely updates, and deliver high-quality customer service. The role also involves working closely with real estate professionals, financial advisers, and others, building referral relationships. Income Expectations: Since you'll be working my existing book of business, I'll be shocked if you don't make over $60k your first year and more likely over $100k. Of course, there's room for lazy and undisciplined so it's possible you do worse. But over the coming years, you'll be able to eclipse $200k and even $500k if that's your dream. Qualifications: Must be a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer in the state of Utah Ability to manage many separate client needs simultaneously without losing track of important dates or details Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
