Part Time Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Assistant Coach Part‑Time Men’s Soccer Reports to and assists the Head Coach in directing activities for the men's soccer program within NCAA, RMAC, and Colorado School of Mines policies, guidelines, and procedures. Responsible for supporting the athletic and academic development of student‑athletes while focusing on their welfare. Primary Responsibilities Coaching: assist the head coach in training of the men’s soccer team; conduct all in‑season and out‑of‑season sessions as required. Assist with filming and technique instruction. Travel to all competitions— in‑state and out‑of‑state when able. Administrative: fully knowledgeable of, and adhere to all NCAA, RMAC, and Mines rules and regulations; manage travel plans, compliance logs, on‑campus visits; attend meetings as necessary; complete NCAA coach’s curriculum and trainings. Recruiting: collaborate on annual and long‑term recruiting strategies; assist the head coach in recruiting quality student‑athletes committed to NCAA standards; maintain good relations with parents; respond respectfully and timely to recruiting communications; travel for recruiting when necessary. Demonstrate a cooperative attitude toward all sports in the intercollegiate program; be willing to work odd hours including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Experience coaching soccer at a competitive level. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic fast‑paced environment and manage stressful situations. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Excellent communication skills with coaches, student‑athletes, athletics administration, and prospective student‑athletes and families. Salary and Benefits $2,500 stipend for the duration of the assignment (August 2026 – November 2026).
