Freight Broker

As a Senior Account Manager, you will operate in a true cradle-to-grave capacity. You will fully own the lifecycle of your accounts—from prospecting and closing new business to carrier procurement, rate negotiation, and tracking freight through to delivery. Please Note : A portable book of business is a strict requirement for this position. This role will begin fully remote but will transition to full-time on-site once our Southern Charlotte brick-and-mortar office is established. Key Responsibilities Full Lifecycle (Cradle-to-Grave) Managemen t: Actively prospect, sign, onboard, and manage your own customer accounts while simultaneously sourcing and securing the carrier capacity to move their freight High-Velocity Executio n: Move freight quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines, utilizing Circle’s advanced TMS, technology stack, and extensive carrier network Rate Negotiatio n: Leverage market analytics to confidently negotiate competitive freight rates with both shippers and carriers to maximize profit margin Carrier Procurement & Qualificatio n: Build and maintain deep relationships with carriers, ensuring all booked carriers meet strict safety and compliance standards to uphold our "No Fail" service promise Problem Resolutio n: Proactively manage daily shipments, solve complex transit challenges in real-time, and serve as the main point of contact for all communication Strategic Growt h: Analyze your customers' supply chains to offer personalized logistics solutions, continually expanding your volume and lane density Required Qualifications Experien ce: Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience in a cradle-to-grave freight brokerage environment Book of Busine ss: Must possess a verifiable, portable book of business with active shipper relationships Speed & Agili ty: Proven track record of moving freight quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and high-volume sales environment Location Flexibili ty: Ability to work autonomously from home initially, with the commitment to transition to our Southern Charlotte office full-time once opened Skil ls: Exceptional negotiation, cold-calling, and relationship-building skills; strong technical aptitude to master internal TMS and CRM tools Educati on: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required What We Offer Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits Paid time off (PTO) and paid holiday The unique opportunity to join a top-tier 3PL as a foundational member of a brand-new geographic branch Industry-leading technology integrations (ELD visibility tools, automated load matching) #J-18808-Ljbffr Circle Logistics, Inc
