Geriatric Unit Programs Director - PAS II-Unit Administrator

Title Geriatric Unit Programs Director - PAS II-Unit Administrator Job Duties To direct and develop the clinical and administrative operations of Geriatric Services (Ward E – Intermediate Care and Ward F – Acute Treatment) according to certification/accreditation guidelines. All services are provided according to the needs and preferences of adult geriatric individuals, taking into account age and diagnoses‑specific issues. This position is also responsible for coordinating the performance improvement services of the Program. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field required. Supervisory experience required. Experience administering aspects of a long‑range behavioral healthcare program required. Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator by Virginia Department of Health Professions required. Additional Considerations Strongly prefer advanced or master’s degree in behavioral health field. Strongly prefer experience administrating or supervising inpatient mental health program or major component of program.
