As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver DOD Site in Independence MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas warehouses access points parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic and maintaining required logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry out duties in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements Allied Universal policies and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
