Title
Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Schedule
Regular shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 (start time may be flexible up to 08:00)
Weekend requirement: work one full weekend (Saturday & Sunday) every 4 weeks; receive a day off that week Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Requirements
- 1 year of Level 1 trauma acute care experience
- BLS certification
- State PT license required
- ACLS required only for specific locations (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills; ability/desire to treat varied patient populations Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in an inpatient acute care setting.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge expectations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to assistants and technicians.
- Complete necessary documentation in the EMR system.
- Conduct acute care evaluations and re-assessments as needed. Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 16 hours
- RTO limits: Maximum 7 days of RTO within a 13-week contract; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment; no new RTO after submission without approval.
- Parking: Monthly passes available.
- Vaccine policy: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
