Sr Mechanical PE / Project Manager (Hybrid) Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year. Location: Fairfax, VA. Employment: Permanent, On-site. The role involves overseeing schematic design through construction administration, managing staff, schedules, budgets, scope of work, and providing direct client contact and relationship management for projects such as municipal and federal buildings, transportation and utility infrastructure, and office buildings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution PE license required 10+ years with an MEP or engineering consulting firm, background on complex projects 3–5+ years of project‑management and construction‑administration experience Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Proven experience in municipal & federal buildings, public sector, justice/civic, transportation/utility infrastructure, and office buildings Ability to develop HVAC designs from concept through construction completion Strong coordination skills with architecture, structure, and other disciplines Experience preparing engineering design calculations, system layouts, and detailed reports Direct client contact experience and skill in fostering relationships Support for business‑development initiatives, including RFP and interview processes Active engagement in community or industry organizations EEO Statement Jobot is an equal‑opportunity employer.
