Commercial Finance Associate

Overview Seeks experience in due diligence, documentation, negotiation, and closing sophisticated lending transactions, specifically real estate, commercial, securities, and/or asset-backed loans. Broader transactional and bankruptcy experience will also be considered. Team members are expected to participate in the local community. Texas bar license is strongly preferred, though candidates barred in other states will be considered if willing to sit for the Texas bar. The position is full-time and partnership-track. Posting details Commercial Finance Associate Dallas Snell & Wilmer's Dallas office seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join the Commercial Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience in due diligence, documentation, negotiation, and closing sophisticated lending transactions, including real estate, commercial, securities and/or asset backed loans. Broader transactional and bankruptcy experience will also be considered. Excellent academic credentials and excellent writing skills are required. Participating in our local community is part of our credo and is expected of our team members. Texas bar license is strongly preferred, but consideration will also be given to candidates barred in other states, who will be expected to sit for the Texas bar. This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.
